The first Android module is here!
After a lot of requests we are finally releasing our first Android module!
It’s called Ti.FAB (Floating Action Button) and it enables you to use those floating buttons usually displayed down to the bottom of the screen. It’s considered part of the Google Material Design and it’s very useful when you want to highlight an important action in a specific window.
We heard some developers asking Appcelerator why no FAB implementation was ever released and that motivated us to come up with this. Android is playing an important part in the mobile market and it deserves attention.
This is the first Material Design Component module that we are creating and we hope to create more in the near future. If you are willing to contribute with us and develop an Android module, please contact us via email, twitter or Slack.
Head to the Ti.FAB Module page to check it out!
Stay tuned for more cool stuff! 🙂
